The park is open sunrise to sunset and there is parking right next to these bars. Unfortunately no parallel bars, but these are part of a vita Parcours. If you arrive before the park opens, you can park in the lot across the street from the entrance of the park and walk in. There are several picnic shelters nearby, you can drag some tables together for dips, etc.
