Hanging knee raises are a basic movement for core and grip strength. The combination from hanging on the bar and lifting legs with the core is a great start for beginner in calisthenics training. This exercise is a good fundament to following exercise and also gives basic strength for all hanging bar based movements.

- Arms are staight while the whole movement
- Scapulas are tighten (starting from active hang position)
- Slow and controlled movement
