Summary of editorial
This park is composed of 5 different stations. It has 3 pull-up bars, parallel bars for dips, monkey bars, a rope climbing station, push-up bars, 3 long benches, and 3 step benches of different heights. The park is well maintained and clean. The intersection carries a lot of traffic.
It's located at 11885 Boulevard Laurentien, in front of the YMCA Cartierville. Inside the adjacent YMCA, there is a gym, a pool for lane swim and an interior basketball court, but those are not free and require payment or a membership. However, the calisthenics equipment outside is entirely free and can be used by anyone.
If you are not a resident of the Cartierville neighborhood of Montreal, the park can be accessed via city bus 170 Keller that stop in front of it, or bus 64 Grenet that will take you within one block. Designed primarily for the residents of Cartierville, it is not easy to access via subway, since the park is a 35 to 45-minute walk from the nearest station, Côte-Vertu, the terminus of the Orange Line of the Montreal Métro transit system.
